In the third quarter of 2024, the Serbian social networking app market saw varied performance across the top five applications, as reported by Sensor Tower. Here's a closer look at the trends in weekly downloads and revenue for these popular apps.

Threads from Instagram, Inc. had a dynamic quarter in terms of downloads. Starting with around 18.2K downloads in early July, the app experienced a peak of approximately 25.8K downloads in mid-August. By the end of September, downloads had slightly decreased to about 17.9K. No revenue was generated during this period.

Rakuten Viber Messenger, a product of Viber Media SARL, showed a consistent revenue stream, peaking at roughly $1.3K towards the end of September. Finally, Pengu – Raise Virtual AI Pets demonstrated an interesting pattern. While initially showing minimal downloads, the app surged to over 20.8K downloads in mid-September. Revenue also saw an uptick, starting from zero and gradually increasing to $65 by mid-September.
